inventory and situated in a remote, near-Arctic location • Infrastructure upgrade/repair
includes constructing a buttress to stabilize an open pit, installing air quality monitoring
stations, and upgrading sitewide power • Risk mitigation by searching for underground
voids and deconstructing/stabilizing historic facilities to maintain the site’s
environmental/regulatory compliance and protect human health and safety—and the
environment
FEED, DETAILED DESIGN, EPC, OPERATIONS • FEED for 12.5-million BPD seawater
treatment plant, 300-MW gas turbine powerplant, and 500-m shipping channel and
material-offloading facility • Detailed design of early works (site preparation, buildings,
infrastructure, utilities)
SAWS OUR ROLE: CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT-RISK (JV) • Will be the largest inland
groundwater desalination plant in the United States at full buildout
